Entry Requirements
- High school qualification or above with valid foreign passport.
- Those overseas applicants who were nationals of the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan must have held the valid foreign passport or certificate of nationality for at least four years, and over two years (nine-month actual residence in foreign countries within one year can be calculated as one year, subject to the entry and exit date) of the actual abroad residence record within the last four years.
- Guardian's Letter of Guarantee is required for applicants under 18 years old.
- English Language Proficiency Requirement: Have a valid TOEFL score which is higher than 85 or a valid IELTS score which is higher than 6.0 or equivalent score in other forms of English language tests.

1. Senior High school academic transcript
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
2. Photocopy of valid passport
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
3. Passport photo
A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
4. Senior High school graduate certificate
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
5. English proficiency test certificate
For example, IELTS or TOEFL, only for applicant whose native language is not English.
6. For applicants of School of design, a video of self-introduction and design procedure will be needed.
7. Letter of self-recommendation
500-800 words, except for applicants of Internatioanl English and School of International Chinese Studies
8. Other materials
Applicants of Dept. of Fine Art must submit latest original art works.
Interview will be needed for applicants of School of International Chinese Studies, Faculty of Education, Department of Music.9. Guardian's Letter of Guarantee is required for applicants under 18 years old.
