*1. A study or research plan

Words: no less than 1500 words
Language: Written in Chinese for Chinese-taught programs or English for English-taught programs.
Content: Include but not limited to personal study or work experience, academic research outcome, research plan of Ph.d program, personal goal after graduation.

*2. Non-criminal Certificate (notarized photocopy in English or Chinese).

3. Catalogue and abstract of published papers, or other documents that proves academic ability (not compulsory); the abstract of Master degree thesis instead of the full text.

*4. Certificate of HSK

*5. Photocopy of Passport (Include personal information page and Chinese visa pages if you have been in China).

*6. Passport photo

A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant

*7. Ph.D program applicants should submit both their Master's and Bachelor's degree certificates

Scanned original documents. If documents are not in Chinese or English, a notarized and translated version in Chinese or in English is required.
Applicants who will not graduate before the application deadline shall provide the expected graduation certificate and the estimated graduation time should be earlier than August 31, 2022. The original Graduation certificate and diploma should be submitted for the registration.

*8. Two Recommendation Letters

Written by scholars who hold the title of associate professor or higher, or senior professionals in a related academic field. Written in Chinese or English. The issue date of the recommendation letter should be later than September 1st, 2021. Recommendation letter MUST include: designation of the recommender, place of work, contact phone number, email address and recommender signature.

*9. Official Academic transcript

Ph.D program applicants should submit academic transcripts of both their graduate and undergraduate studies.
Original or notarized copy documents. If documents are not in Chinese or English, a notarized and translated version in Chinese or in English is required.

10. Award certificates

If you are applying for programs of School of Software Engineering or School of Advanced International and Area Studies, you are required to contact the supervisor beforehand and provide an acceptance letter by the supervisor.

11. Other documents

Catalogue and abstract of published papers, or other documents that proves academic ability (not compulsory); the abstract of Master degree thesis instead of the full text.

*12. Effective (within 6 months) Health Certificate

Physical examination report must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form, and provide the detailed blood test report. Incomplete forms or forms without the applicants' photograph, a sealed photograph of the applicant, the official stamp of the hospital, or signature of physician are considered as invalid.

Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit.
